Just when I thought that the holiday party season was over, this piece of news came across my e-mail, thanks to the keen eye of our stakeholder development manager, Allison George. This weekend, five wineries in Washington County–Montinore Estate, Patton Valley Vineyards, Plum Hill Vineyards, Elk Cove Vineyards and Kramer Vineyards will open their doors as they celebrate the season with holiday treats, gift ideas, wine tastings and more.
“Holidays on Highway 47″ will be held this Saturday and Sunday (Dec. 11 and 12), from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Admission is free, tasting fees vary. A portion of tasting fees from this event will benefit Salud!, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing access to health care services for Oregon’s seasonal vineyard workers and their families.
