January 13-21

For one week in January, Oregon’s cider makers are in the spotlight for Oregon Cider Week, January 13-21.

This celebration of all things cider is accessible to all, whether you’re new to cider or a bona fide cider aficionado. There are a host of events happening all over the region. All are welcome to join in on the cider fun.

Events in Tualatin Valley

Sunday Brunch  | Portland Cider Co. Westside Pub
4005 SW Orbit St., Beaverton, OR 97005
January 14 | 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Enjoy a brunch of house-baked goods, quiches made from scratch, cider-mosas, brunch cider cocktails and more, in honor of their newest seasonal release, Mango Mimosa. Flights of cider-mosas also will be available.

Cider Pairing Dinner | 19 Acres Cider Co.
18055 SW Seiffert Rd., Sherwood, OR 97140
January 15 | 7-10 p.m.
Cider enthusiasts who are seeking a gourmet journey at 19 Acres Cider Co.’s pairing dinner. Each course will be expertly paired with a different cider. Tickets start at around $100. Reservations are required; space is limited.

Cider Week Bingo | Champion Sports Bar & Grill
2947 SE 73rd Ave., Hillsboro OR 97123

January 17 | 6:30-8 p.m.
Play bingo for a chance to win prizes. Cider specials will also be on tap.

19 Acres Cider Co. Tastings | John’s Marketplace (Beaverton)
3700 SW Hall Blvd., Beaverton OR 97005

January 18 | 5-7 p.m.
Enjoy tasting samples of 19 Acres’ ciders and Pommeau.

7th Annual Wassail Cider Fest | McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse
4045 NE Cornelius Pass Rd., Hillsboro OR 97124

“Wassailing” is a tradition that awakens the cider apple trees and scares away evil spirits to ensure a good harvest. Join in on the fun and toast to the next cider harvest. The event includes a special menu of items for purchase, live music and a parade to toast the apple trees. Tickets $45-50 and includes a glass and 10 tokens. Tickets are available online.
