Nordstrom Rack Opens at Tigard’s Cascade Plaza
September 23rd, 2011 by Angie Marsh
The shopping just got sweeter here in Washington County–a new Nordstrom Rack opened in Tigard, right near Hwy. 217, with 45,000 square feet of shopping bliss.
Eager shoppers flooded the store at the grand opening Thursday–and with lots of free parking, 30-70% savings from Nordstrom stores’ full retail prices, and no sales tax, who can blame them? Like other Nordstrom Racks, much of the merchandise is divided by type (men’s, women’s, children’s, accessories, etc.) and then subdivided by brand. I checked out the Free People and BCBG offerings, both of which had some stylish sweaters and blouses. It looked as though the most popular items being purchased were handbags, boots and coats.
This new Nordstrom Rack is nestled next to other discount shopping stores, including: Burlington Coat Factory, Ross, David’s Bridal and Best Buy. Starved shoppers should also check out Fresh Grill, a quick-casual restaurant also located in Cascade Plaza that offers tasty hamburgers and waffle fries; also, Benihana is right across the parking lot.
If this is not enough for shoppers, rest assured that it’s less than one mile from the Nordstrom at Washington Square–which happens to be the largest Nordstrom store in Oregon in this major retail center.
Enjoy the ease of shopping here–and the bargains!
